This project is a fix for a common problem. The builder when building the house did not put a vented stove hood in. It was a combination Microwave/Hood Vent but was not removing the air to the outside. This is fixed by ducting the vent outside. To do this we must run 6 inch ducts from the stove to the outside. Trying to keep the damage to the sheetrock to a minimum. On Day 1 January 29 2004 we secured the pipe to the hood.
Now we must close and repair the sheetrock. And a change. It seems the Homeowners were unhappy with the lighting. We suggested can lights to upgrade their lighting. The Homeowners did decided on can lighting and we installed 7 of them in the kitchen. This work is best done before closing the ceiling. This was done on Day 2 January 30 2004
On Day 3 February 2 2004 we repaired the sheetrock.
Now to Finish Painting.
Day 4 February 2004 we sanded and finished painting. All is done.
